We are planning a special evening for the children in our foster care program on November 20th — World Children’s Day.
This will be a night designed to help each child feel confident, celebrated, and deeply valued.
As prom season approaches in the U.S., we’re reminded how meaningful it can be for young people to dress up, feel special, and share a memorable experience with friends. That same sense of joy and confidence is what we hope to create for the children in our care.
Thank you to those who have already given dresses or financial gifts toward this effort. Your generosity is helping make this evening possible.
One beautiful part of this initiative is that the formalwear will become part of the GVFH closet, creating opportunities for many more special moments in the future.
Contact us if you’d like to be part of this, here are a few ways to help:
- Donate new or gently used formalwear
- Serve as an ambassador by collecting items from friends, church, or community
- Give financially toward formalwear or footwear
Shipping can take time, so earlier is always helpful as we prepare for the event.
Thank you for helping create moments that build confidence, dignity, and lasting memories!
