Lately there hasn’t been much positive news coming out of Haiti, but in the midst of it all we know without a doubt that God is in control.

We’ve been sharing with you for more than three months about the case of the babies who were abandoned at a hospital and have been waiting for placement. The trip to the hospital has been cancelled numerous times because of the natural disasters, strikes, fuel shortage, etc.

On Monday our prayers were answered! God provided and protected us and the IBESR staff on this trip. Because of Him, we had enough fuel to make the four hour trip, He protected us from the roadblock that threatened to stop us, and provided us with a driver who knew back roads in that area to get us to the hospital and back safely.

We praise God that He made way for two of the babies to be placed in two loving families! When we arrived to one of the foster homes, the foster father took the baby and said, “Welcome my son, you are at home, may God bless you!”

These two precious babies can now experience the love of a family who will surround them with God’s love. We praise God for His provision!

In Haiti, the joys and the sorrows are so closely tied together, and so we ask for your continued  prayers for the other 4 babies we had to still leave at the hospital because they have special needs. It breaks our hearts! IBESR has arranged for a special center close to Port au Prince that is willing to receive them, however the area where this center is located in “the mouth of the lion” some of the most dangerous gang territory. May the Lord  protect them!

THANK YOU for joining us in praying for these babies!

With our God, we have hope for the future!
