There was a time when the GVFH staff was pretty small.

It was basically the two of us. 

When our family moved to Les Cayes to begin God’s Vision for Haiti, we were involved in almost everything.

But as our Foster Care ministry began to take shape, we realized that we couldn’t do this alone.

So we hired our first two staff members.

They helped make home visits, recruit potential foster families, and assist with foster parent training. Delegating some of this work also allowed us to focus on the bigger picture and create room for the other pillars of GVFH to grow.

We couldn’t have imagined what that first step would become.

Today, God’s Vision for Haiti has 52 staff members!

They teach students, care for patients, serve children and families, keep our campus running, and help turn the vision of GVFH into reality every day.

But to us, our staff represents something bigger than 52 employees.

It means we’re not alone.

We have a team of people who have embraced the vision and are all leaning in the same direction.

And for our staff, GVFH provides more than a reliable source of income. It gives them an opportunity to make a real difference. Their work has a greater purpose.

As we’ve looked back over these first 10 years, we’ve seen God provide again and again.

And as the vision grew, He provided people to help carry it.

What started with two people joining our team has become 52 people working together to bring hope and transformation to Haiti.

We’re incredibly grateful for every person who has helped carry the GVFH vision – and for you, because your prayers and generosity help make their work possible.
