Not long ago, the doors to our GVFH Community Clinic were closed to the wider community.

Not because the need wasn’t there — but because we simply weren’t ready yet.

For years, the clinic quietly served only the foster children entrusted to our care. We dreamed of more, prayed for more, and prepared for the day when anyone in our community could walk through those doors and be met with dignity, compassion, and competent care.

That day finally came.

July 2025 marked a turning point. After years of careful preparation, the GVFH Community Clinic opened its doors to the broader community — and almost immediately, we saw why this mattered so deeply.

One woman shared that her mother had gone to another clinic and found no relief. When she became one of our very first patients, just two days of treatment brought healing.

“I highly recommend GVFHCC,” she told us.

An elderly patient returned for a follow-up appointment — not with complaints, but blowing kisses to our staff in gratitude.

One man came back after receiving wound care and said:

“If I hadn’t come here, I probably would have lost my foot. The care I received was exceptional.”

Again and again, we see it: patients arriving worried, tired, or afraid — and leaving smiling, shaking hands, and making sure they say goodbye to every staff member because they felt seen, valued, and truly cared for.

This is why we do what we do.

Today, our campus continues to be more than a place of services — it’s becoming a place of rest, play, healing, and hope for families across our community.

Looking ahead, our goal is to:

What was once only a dream is now happening — and it’s happening because of faithful partners like you. To our supporters, our staff, and the patients who trust us with their care: thank you. You are helping create a place where compassion and quality care meet, every single day.
